Patek Philippe Ref. 7140 Ladies First Perpetual Calendar Automatic Replica Watch

September 11, 2016

With the new replica Patek Philippe Ref. 7140 Ladies First Perpetual Calendar automatic wrist watch, the legendary Swiss-based Manufacture gracefully fills the gaping hole in its line of ladies “complication” timekeepers that for some time now included sporty chronographs, convenient world timers and even simple GMT watches for frequent travelers, but, for some unknown reason, lacked a real perpetual calendar model. According to official specs, the new watch is powered by the same Caliber 240 Q movement that animates its vintage-styled Ref. 5940 model that features the same functionality and was, too, presented during the latest Baselworld 2012 trade show.

Adorned with diamonds and presented in a rose gold case, this is one of the dressiest perpetuals in the brand’s product range.

The increased legibility of the gadget is also partly ensured by logical distribution of indicators on its three recessed sub-dials. The one at 3 o’clock, for example, only shows us current month and indicates leap year, while the other at 9 o’clock indicates current day of week and works as a day/night indicator displaying time in 24-hour format.

Despite its small size, the dial of the Patek Philippe replica watch still looks quite spacious: mainly courtesy of thin bezel, which is adorned with 68 diamonds totaling at 0.68 carats, and to the finish of its opaline white dial. The numerals and all inscriptions and abbreviations are large enough to be easily read, but are also small enough not to make the timekeeper’s face look cluttered.

The display at 6 hours is here to display moonphase and a circular calendar with only odd numbers printed around its rim in rose gold numerals.

Frankly, I can’t find any flaw in this timekeeper that is worth mentioning.

It is also worth mentioning that the dial looks especially dressy thanks to its seven Arabic numerals not simply printed, but meticulously crafted from 18-carat rose gold and applied to the surface by hand.

Thanks to its relatively small size of 27.5 mm in diameter and just 3.88 mm in height (the movement uses a micro-rotor winding system that allows saving some precious vertical space), the fake Patek Philippe Ladies First watch itself was presented in a very compact rose gold body just 35.10 millimeters in diameter.
