Mont blanc will soon update its high-end Collection Villeret family with a new rose gold …
The best quality fake Montblanc Time Walker TwinFly automatic chronograph watch. Details are still scarce, but it is known that the upcoming watch, which is set to be presented during the SIHH 2011 event, will be delivered in a 43 mm stainless steel case in a scratch resistant matt black DLC coating.
Although their first attempts didn’t look particularly inspiring, it look like the Swiss-based brand has finally found a design language of its own.A nice writing instrument needs a good wristwatch to make the impression lasting, so, at some point in time Montblanc entered the business of making luxury time measuring devices.
Compared to many similarly priced chronographs that feature the usual ETA blank calibers with third-party add-on modules, this is a huge step in the right direction. The new timepiece offers a very impressive exterior design and is powered by a complex mechanism that, with some reservations, could be called an ‘in-house’ job.
On a wrist, the new MontBlanc TimeWalker TwinFly watch copy takes a great deal of space.
The controls are pretty standard with the pair of push-pieces placed at their usual positions at 2 and 4 o’clock and a bit over-sized crown placed right between them. While the crown is massive enough to be easily operated, the pushers are a bit too short to my taste: I would prefer some more travel before engaging or disengaging the chronograph module.
Not only because the timekeeper’s body is larger than your average chronograph of this style, but also because of its longer horns. The watch measures around 50 millimeters in lug-to-lug department, so, if you happen to be on a skinnier side of the fence, you may want to think twice before ordering this piece.
Inside the generously proportioned body will tick-tock a Montblanc caliber MB LL 100 automatic column wheel chronograph movement with vertical disk clutch.
The name of the brand that stays behind the mechanism says a lot to those in the know, but if you are more into esthetics and don’t care much about technical features (it is a pretty sophisticated piece of machinery, by the way, that significantly increases the timepiece’s value), stay assured that the mechanism is wonderfully finished featuring a skeletonized oscillating weight with Montblanc’s famous Star, is decorated with nicely executed Geneva strips and has its parts held together with blued and polished screws.
Developed and manufactured by Manufacture ValFleurier, which is also owned by the Richemont Group, the caliber features a twin-barrel winding system that stores enough power to animate the watch for as long as 72 hours.
Although its guaranteed power reserve of just three days doesn’t look exactly groundbreaking now (but is quite formidable compared to an average ETA-powered chronograph), it is still a very nice feature to those who has two or three timekeepers in weekly rotation.
TwinFly’s dial, too, makes a very good impression with the brand’s signature styled Arabic numerals and easy to recognize open-worked hands with the usual thin strips of Superluminova at the tips. While the central chronograph seconds hand (I mean, the shorter one) lacks enough contrast due to its color of darkish red, the rest of indicators is quite easy to read, even the date window, which is placed at 9 o’clock, is large enough for a normal person.
The dial is nicely sculpted although the motif that they used looks a bit out of place (but that’s my personal opinion, right).
Only 300 pieces will be made and offered to collectors and enthusiasts at an impressive price of €8950.
